Big Buddha Temple

Samui's most famous landmark. A large statue of Lord Buddha image is dominating on a hill top of a small island (Koh Fann) which sitting 50 feet height on the north coast of the island. The Big Buddha statue is visible from kilometers away and can be reached by walking up the steps to the big gallery for the spectacular view.

Plai Laem Temple

A century old temple, featuring a striking white 18-arm status of Guanyin or "Chinese Lady Monk", the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. Plai Laem Temple is a living and active temple where devotees come daily to pay homage to Guanyin and the Buddha, pray and meditate in the evening. Status are surrounding by a pond, which is teeming with fish. Visitors can feed the fish by donation.

Grandfather & Grandmother Rocks

A marvelous strange natural formation of rocks on Koh Samui's south coast, have been fashioned by the elements into massive sculptures, creating a lot of humorous interest from tourists. These rocks respectively like male and female genitalia. This unusual and titillating sight has, naturally, given rise to a legend explaining how the rocks came into being.
